Fall Camping- why not? Michigan is unique in that it has four very distinct seasons, and it can be highly debated which season is the most appreciated. I personally enjoy the fall season, and I would like to highlight one great opportunity to enjoy all that fall has to offer – camping!  With school starting in just a couple weeks and activities starting up again such as football practice with Friday night games from now until the snow starts flying, dance practice, karate, Wednesday night church activities, etc, the lazy summer days we enjoy so much will soon turn into a busy fall.

In the middle of one of the busiest times of year for your family, have you thought about taking a little break to reconnect with your family?  Fall camping is one of my favorite things – you can sit around the fire and enjoy its glow and warmth, those pesky flies aren’t biting your kids as they ride their bikes until the sun goes down. And how can you forget about warm gooey s’mores as the crisp fall air settles in for the night?  Camping this fall might just be the ticket for your family to reconnect in the midst of a busy schedule and catch back up with life.  The best part of this is you don’t have to travel far to enjoy a great camp ground with your family!
